Covid19 shipping disruptions.

QUICK & EASY
  • To safeguard against Covid19 delivery interruptions and summer heat wave- every order now includes a $17 fee to cover the expense of a foil insulation blanket, additional gel ice and the added freight cost of adding these items.
DETAILS:
  • Our most direct method of shipping is airport pick up via Alaska Airlines Cargo. But this is not very convenient for most folks so we utilize FedEx Express shipments direct to your home or business.
  • In recent weeks FedEx has experienced a surge in the volume of orders they are attempting to deliver daily and on time- all with a reduced number of employees. That is what I have been told by customer service agents.
  • To provide you with the best possible product we have been shipping via FedEx Priority Overnight service with an intended delivery  agreement time of delivery before 10:30am in most residential neighborhoods-which is great! However, recently FedEx has been late in multiple instances and the additional time in hot summer climates can cause a partial thaw.
  • In an effort to combat the possibility of an extended transit time and the mind blowingly hot temperatures some are experiencing we are adding an additional insulated foil blanket within each already insulated box as well as adding additional gel ice. With these measures we are confident your order will arrive in very fine shape if not perfectly rock hard frozen. In the event of an overnight delay we will be able to submit a claim with FedEx. If the delivery is made late on the same day- no claim is possible. It is possible your may receive a partly thawed shipment if it arrives very late in the day- FedEx delivers up until 8pm in some areas. Knock on wood none of our packages have arrived that late to date.
  • We would not continue to ship if we didn't feel you are receiving some of the best possible service and seafood quality. All vendors are experiencing the same carrier problems we are. Most likely they just aren't alerting you before you place an order. We like to be completely transparent the whole way through.
  • We store our Just Frozen product in a subzero commercial freezer up until the very last moment when we quickly pack your order with care. All orders are held in freezers during transit at layover points. Unfortunately FedEx does not provide refrigerated delivery trucks.
