Not often available. Rick caught a few Yellow Eye Rockfish while harvesting our Halibut.
These are large whole fillets that weigh in right around 1.50 lb each.
A mild and pure flavored fish, with a delicate flake. Cooked gently is best. We like a light simmer in coconut curry and lemon grass based soup. Or steamed with the tenderest basting of teriyaki or naturally sweet coconut aminos.
